He is a seasoned entrepreneur and founder of multiple successful software development labs, responsible for launching over fifteen different ventures. These include Crave Technologies, Inc., a promotions automation firm, Alertmarks™, a search technology platform, and Machine Data Learning, LLC, specializing in AI-driven global particulate matter prediction.
Mr. Eggleston has developed pioneering technologies in-house and through tech transfer programs, leveraging partnerships with leading universities such as UMBC and the University of Texas. He owns over 2,000 domains, numerous trademarks, copyrights, and is an inventor or co-inventor of over ten patents in software and business methods.
Mr. Eggleston has managed the business decisions for all major aspects of the patent legal process including prosecution, enforcement, IPR defense, re-examination, licensing, and appeal.
He has served on boards such as the Maryland Institute of Science and UMBC’s Alex Brown Center for Entrepreneurship, co-founded the National Association of Multicultural Digital Entrepreneurs (NAMDE), and contributed to both academic and commercial publications. Both a Toigo and Consortium Fellow, Mr. Eggleston has a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College and an MBA Degree with Distinction from Harvard Business School with an emphasis on Finance and Operations.
